Half Term Showcases
At the end of each half term, we hold a showcase for parents and families where students present their learning journey and accomplishments. These events celebrate excellence and develop each child's confidence and oracy skills.

English and Literature
Children will receive an hour of English each day and the skills learnt will be embedded across other subjects. Skills and understanding will be developed through high quality texts, from the greatest writers and thinkers, such as Dickens, Bronte, Eyre, Kipling, Thomas & Shakespeare, whilst also focusing on academic writing for purpose, oracy and critical thinking.

Humanities
Children will learn their identity and sense of self through a study of the history of the British Isles and then the wider world. In depth explorations of Medieval Britain, The Renaissance, 20th Century, will be taught alongside the key skills of analysis, critical thinking and debate. This will enable students to apply these transferable skills to multiple potential subjects post 16, with a solid background of the worlds around them and how to learn.

Science
Using highly qualified specialist tutors, our science sessions aim to open up a world of curiosity and discovery, equipping you with critical thinking skills that are essential in today's fast-developing world. Tutors encourage you to ask questions, explore new ideas, and solve real-world problems. By engaging with scientific concepts, children will gain scientific knowledge and develop a mindset that values evidence and innovation.
